Antigua's finance minister says it could take several more months to resolve an Internet gambling feud with the U.S.

The countries have been at odds since the World Trade Organization last year ruled the island could impose retaliatory sanctions for a U.S. ban on online betting.

The World Trade Organization says the island can impose US$21 million in sanctions against the U.S.

Finance Minister Errol Cort says officials will know in about three months whether a compromise agreement is feasible.

Cort said Friday that officials agreed to extend a July 11 deadline after a U.S. delegation recently arrived in Antigua for another round of talks.

European Union Officials to Meet With US Delegates Over Online Gambling

A delegation of European Union trade officials will conduct talks with US officials at the end of this month over prosecutions and market restrictions concerning online gambling that appear to European interests to be restrictive and discriminatory in nature, according to Poker News.

WPT inks deal with Fox Sports Net

World Poker Tour Enterprises Inc. announced Thursday it has entered into a partnership with Fox Sports Network for the broadcast of Season 7 of the World Poker Tour.

In the deal, FSN received exclusive rights to air 26, one-hour episodes in the United States across its network. The current season of the WPT is airing on GSN and before that it was on the Travel Channel.

The first two episodes for the new season were shot on Thursday during the final table of the Bellagio Cup IV in Las Vegas. The remaining episodes will be filmed at the WPT's...
